At 39 Degrees the Horizon! Seeing & atmosphere was Very Very poor.
information: telescope Celestron 11" Schmidt Cassegrain Focal lenght 2800 mm,focal ratio 10,
camera SKYnyx mono+3xBarlow,30fps total 3200  frames stacks

Finally some clear skies again... and the seeing was reasonable at times last night with the presence of a broad high pressure system nearby. I'd say the seeing was 8/10 at times.
There may be several images to post from this session,here's the first one.


I have an image from two days before the impact that shows how that part of Jupiter used to look... I posted this previously, but this version has received much more careful attention and is a significant improvement.


This one was taken at approximately 2am local time in reasonable seeing.
Oval BA is rising on the right hand side.
