衝突痕は眼視400Xで明瞭に見えている。
モニター上では確認しずらい。シーイングが悪く10ショット目に撮影した分だけ
seeing:3/10と良くなったが、すぐに川底状態に戻った。
見慣れない模様が写っているが、何だろう？

透明度が良かったので、拡大率を上げてみたものの得られた画像は良くなかった。
衝突痕がさらに淡くなった。ＮＥＢは南部が乱れている。

Condition was variable this evening. There were periods of good seeing but there were also clouds.
The Wesley Impact remnant has faded a lot. It is difficult to see now even on almost perfect conditions.
The SEB is very quiet. While the NEB is very chaotic. There are also a lot of activity on the EZ.

8月17日の木星画像を報告致します。
日中の晴れ間は増えて来ましたが、夜間の晴れ間は
相変わらず少ない状態が続いており、この日も雲が厚
くなり、以降の撮像は出来ませんでした。
おまけに透明度も良くありません。

やっと処理が終わりました。
この日は日本時間の22時頃より今期一番と思われるくらい
シーイングが良くなり、調子に乗って70画像分も撮影して
しまいました。

Seeing was just correct but at last allowed me to observe the region of the GRS since quite a while...
First note a white spot just inside the GRS in near IR ! It does appear on some other images I have seen (Tyler and Akutsu,at least) and seems to be rotating with the vortex. Maybe some rotation time can be calculated...
The SEB f. the GRS looks really quiet,but still in RGB no fading of the belt is apparent.
