昨夜より少し状況は良くなりましたが、上空は北西の気流が強く、
木星は歪んでいます。
ただ、気流による揺れはときおり少なくなり、思っている以上に
詳細が写りました。

コメント：透明度は良く、シーイングはまあまあでしたが、いつもこの時間帯に
なると雲が発生してしまい、RGBの連続撮影がままなりません。

Here is an image of Jupiter taken on the evening of September 10 from Murrumbateman in reasonable conditions.
Some detail is visible inside the GRS and the remains of the debris cloud is still apparent at top right on the limb,just coming into view. The dark red material gathering behind the GRS is also interesting,it's been there for a while now and shows no sign of dissipating. The GRS hollow is very pronounced and the GRS itself seems disconnected from the rest of the SEB.
The shadow of Ganymede is visible just north of the GRS and the NEB is a mass of turbulent activity with at least two intense white spots visible and a number of red and red/blue storms. All in all,Jupiter is a fascinating sight at the moment.

Since the weather has been poor here i processed up a sequence obtained during the last 3 weeks which ive spent imaging Jupiter on a near daily basis. These images from the 10th show the turbulent rifting within the NEB,as well as the dark barges in the SEB. Also note the filamentary regions in the SSTB,and the GRS heading off the disk.
Here is a set from Sep 10th again under excellent seeing showing the hemisphere following the GRS with the impact scar remains which look very fragmented. This set replaces the first set posted from Sep 10th.
