Here are two compilations of some v-hi-res images which observers have been producing recently. 
First, Anthony Wesley and Toshirou Mishina have both drawn attention to the site of barge b2, where the blue patch is now quite 
conspicuous, and they pointed out that the barge itself has become bright -- especially in v-hi-res infrared images but also in 
visible light.  It is now close to the smaller barge b3 which looks similar.  It's worth watching these barges as the SEB Revival 
outbreak could start in one.  But I don't know whether the present brightening is a precursor.  Such a phenomenon has never been 
observed before, but there has never been such hi-res study of this aspect of the SEB before.

Second, recent v-hi-res images of the GRS region, with oval BA in conjunction, 
demanded to be presented!  I don't seem much happening there, but the views are spectacular, and the NEB rift spinning round a 
dark barge is exquisitely shown. 
Still 3 weeks to go to the closest opposition since 1963!

●最接近を迎える木星

皆さんへ、
ここに示すものは、最近に観測者達が撮影した超高解像度画像の
2枚の組画像である。

まず、Anthony WesleyとToshirou Mishinaの両者は、青色パッチが
今とても目立っているバージb2のサイトに注意を向けていて、彼ら
はバージ自体が、特に超高解像度赤外画像で、可視光でも、明る
くなっていると指摘している。現在b2は、同様な少し小さなバージb3
に接近している。SEB復活のアウトブレークがその一つで始まるか
もしれないので、これらのバージを監視する価値がある。しかし、
私は現在の明化が前兆であるかどうかは知らない。このような現象
は以前には全く観測されたことがなく、以前にはSEBのこの様相に
ついての高解像度の研究は全くなかった。

次に、BAと会合中の大赤斑領域の最近の超高解像度画像を示す。
私はそこでは多くのことは起こっていないように思うが、概観は見事
で、暗いバージの周りを回転するNEBのリフトが絶妙に見えている。

それでも、3週間で1963年以来の最接近の衝となる。
