Here are some images from the 22nd. Poor to fair seeing. Much the same aspect as the previous images with Syrtis Major just peeping into view on the terminator.

Beautiful clear night, conditions absolutely ideal for planetary observing! Seeing was consistently around AI-II and the image of Mars was good and well defined for many long periods of time. I used a combination of 250x, 300x, 400x to obtain some stunning views of the red planet.
The most prominent feature tonight was the Syrtis Major, there was much fine detail here and the feature was at it's darkest on the Proc. side. Both Syrtis Minor and the Mare Tyrrhenum were dark and well defined, and the edge of the Mare Cimmerium was present on the Proc. limb. Hesperia was rather bright tonight, and I had the impression that the brightness extended down and under the Syrtis Minor and into Libya. I also had the impression of brightenings in Aeria and Arabia,
Boreosyrtis was well defined and I am fairly sure that there was a faint curved line extending from the tip of Boreosyrtis and connecting with the Syrtis Major. The line was faint and of a grayish colour. Hellas and Eridania seemed to be of equal brightness tonight and not as bright as usual. NPC quite brilliant, and I had the impression that there was a slight irregularity on the Proc, edge of the cap jutting into the Lowell band.
