The planet was low
down and so seeing was only average at best. The SEB continues it's revival,
I'm pretty sure that both components were of a light brown colour. The NEB was
turbulent as usual,a white oval seemed to be near to the CM. The EZ was
interesting; I am fairly certain that there was a light yellow elongated oval
region in the EZ close to the Proc. limb.

The details in the far north and far south were difficult to pick up due to the
seeing, however I was under the impression that there was a 'mottling' effect in
the NPR. I think the end of the current apparition is rapidly approaching for
me,and I shall only be able to make Jupiter observations for a few more weeks.

Donald C Parker(16-in (41cm) Newtonian)
Poor seeing due to a frontal passage.

Damian Peach (350mm Celestron SCT)
Good seeing throughout this session with winds blowing off the sea. Its amazing to think the apparent diameter has shrunk by 15 arc seconds since opposition! Oval BA is clearly visible and redish. Turbulent dark activity along the SEBs and SEB(N.)
