Fattinnanzi Cristian (360mm Newtonian)
The seeing allowed me to get a good result! The effort of waking
up at 4:30 has paid off!

[Fattinnanzi Cristian : Montecassiano ITALY]

Alberto Berdejo(256mm SC)
The telescope was a Mewlon 180mm,with a 2.5X barlow. The camera DMK21 monochrome. With RGBAstronomik filters.
The date 2011/08/17 and the time 02h55mUT.

[Alberto Berdejo:Zaragoza-Spain]

Sean Walker(317mm Newton)
Fair to good seeing this morning,so I boosted my focal length higher than my usual comfort zone. Interesting small red spot that appears to about to interact with the GRS.

[ Sean Walker,Massachusetts,U.S.A]
Paul G. Abel(203mm reflector)
with Hugh Sasse using the University of Leicester's 508mm DK telescope. Not a great night to be honest; the MET Office's predicted clear night, failed to materialize (as usual),and there were long periods where the planet was swamped with clouds and nothing could be done. When the clouds did part, seeing was largely poor, although when the drawing (attached) was made, there were some steadier moments. Europa emerged from behind Jupiter at around 0150UT and the satellite Callisto was just above the SPR making for an unusual view. Two highly dubious transits were made of the two dark barges in the NEB,no intensity or filter work was carried out.

Akira Kazemoto(308mm Newton)

Carmelo Zannelli (356mm SC )
From my vacation in Eolian Isles (from Vulcano),I send this little
Jupier Image taken by my Celestron C-8 starbright on HEQ5 and Flea3
camera.
The seeing was fair to good and transparency was really good,it was
really spectacular to see the Moon and a Jupiter so high in the sky
under the Vulcano's crater which was smoking.
The Oval BA is well placed and is visible a little "eye" inside it...

[Carmelo Zannelli,Sicily-Italy]

Christopher Go (355mm SC)
Seeing was excellent this morning.
The GRS looks orange. Not as red as usual. Note the features inside the GRS. Note the dark spots inside. The GRS halo is very dark. The wake of the GRS is very complex.
The NEB is still very red. Note there are bright outbreak spots on the NEBs.
Ganymede can be seen north of the GRS. It is well resolved.

Takashi Suzuki (180mmMakustov Casegrain)

[Takashi Suzuki (Hachiouji-City Tokyo Japan)]

Ikuo Takimoto (310mm Newtonian)

Teruaki Kumamori (280mm SC)

David Gray (415mm Dall-Kirkham)
Again excellent conditions allowing me to get some 'fun' drawings of Ganymede & Callisto - with my eye still in after tackling Uranus. However seeing broke down markedly before Mars could caught. Looking at various charts it seems that the northern edge of the jet-stream had crept over!?
