A rare string of two consecutive nights of good seeing here in the eastern U.S. The last time such a thing occurred was in August,2010,so perhaps the poor weather we’ve had for most of the year is giving us a brief reprieve before winter arrives.
Here are two RGB images taken from early and late in the imaging session. The technical issues I experience on the prior night were worked out and were probably a result of the long layoff due to weather and other matters.
