Transparency was poor this evening and seeing is unstable. It's tough to image Jupiter now as it gets lower and lower.
The GRS can be seen in this image. The dark ring is still there.
The area following the GRS is still very busy.
The NEB is narrow. Note the dark features on the NNTB.

Here are next results from 22th of February 2012.
Conditions were a tiny little bit better than two evenings before but still baaaad.

An average Jupiter which main aim was to test for the first time my new 
imaging configuration with my 12.5" Dobson (Skyvision) now equipped with
a dual axis equatorial platform.

Jupiter was already low (40°) with an average seeing, a non optimum
sampling and optical path (a x3 barlow with 175mm behind, I need a x5
powermate to achieve a better sampling with this F/D=4 scope). Despite
the average imaging conditions, I find the result encouraging:
