Jupiter Image 2012/07/07(UT)

Got up at 3:00AM so I could get a cup of coffee and observe the Moon just in case Jupiter was too low to get an image.
I had imaged the Moon and just left the mono camera in (Skynyx) and did not replace it with the color cam.
Jupiter was indeed pretty low and the turbulence was significant.
This is the first image I have processed just FYI. Lots of activity going on!

Fog and poor seeing means only a low resolution IR image from this
morning,but it shows interesting stuff.
This is the face of Jupiter
about an hour before the GRS rises,
there is a large bright storm in the
SEB and the NEB is,as usual this apparition,completely ripped up.
The
join between NEB and EZ has some interesting dark stuff,
I'd guess this
would show as dark blue in colour images.
The EZ contains a wavy line of
dark stuff passing underneath the two dark spots,would looks good at
high res.

久しぶりに快晴。しかしシーイングが悪く、かつゲインを下げすぎたのかよい画像が得られなかった。
５時前後に少しの時間、シーイングが良くなったが、朝日が強烈で観測がしづらい。
EZ〜NEB〜NTBにかけて活動が極めて活発である。
また、模様の移動スピードが速く、２日も日を開けると模様の位置ずれが大きくて、全周マップが
つくれない状況です

Hello,here is my first normal (before sunrise) image of the new season.
Vibrant-beautiful colours in the disturbed NEB-NTB area! 4 dark outbreaks are visible in NEBs.
There is a dark spot in the mirror position to where Europa shadow is in the STropZ.
GRS's northern part has whitened remarkably!
