Attached is an RGB image obtained with a Flea3 color camera coupled to my 184 mm f/14 Schupmann medial with a 3x Barlow lens giving an effective focal ratio of f/46.7.
Ten videos of 60 seconds duration each were taken at 49 fps and an exposure of 20ms at nearly full gain of 3114.
The videos were preprocessed in PIPP, cropping, centering and saving the 1200 best frames from each as new video files.
These videos were aligned, stacked and wavelet sharpened in Registax6 and the resulting 10 images derotated
and stacked using WinJUPOS and finally sharpened again with wavelets in Registax6. The result is attached.
Seeing was only average (5/10) but transparency was excellent and a large amount of medium scale detail is shown.
The EZ is complex and the NEB is now seen to be completely distinct from the NTB. The NTrZ is narrow and white.
A narrow white zone in the southern part of the EZ separates the darker complex region of the EZ from the SEB.
NNTB dark with scalloped northern edge. NNTZ broad and featureless as is the STZ. Three white ovals appear in the STB.

Hi all, finally I found some seeing worth recording :-) Not good
seeing by any means but much better than anything I've had so far this
season.

I'm currently in Karratha in NW Western Australia, hopefully I'll get a
few more decent nights here in the next couple of weeks before I have to
head home again. Even at a latitude of 20S I'm still not clear of the
jetstream. It's much stronger and more pervasive than on my last trip
here in 2010.

This has been processed on my laptop,so the brightness/contrast/gamma
may be off. I'll reprocess it when I'm home again and on a screen I
trust :-)

My only night down at the Peach State Star Gaze in Georgia brought only average seeing.
Thanks to Dan Llewellyn for allowing me to commandeer his C14 to take some images. The NNTZ LRS is nicely placed.

The highlight was viewing some Deep Sky objects through a 28" dob earlier in the night,
Some wonderful views of some familiar objects and great company all round.
