October was a write off here and this is my first image from home possible since Sep 30th. Howling winds and average seeing but at least i could actually see the universe beyond the grey blanket that's usually covering the sky these days.
The GRS and Oval BA are well placed.

Here are a couple of images from last night. Seeing was 2-3 rippling but with some detail visible occasionally.
The moon is Io in the 2256 image, aligned separately and pasted back in.

Attached is a Jupiter drawing made on the 2nd November. Doesn't show very much I'm afraid as the seeing was largely less than average for most of the time with some csteadier moments. This must be the worst year I have known for persistant cloudy and wet conditions; moreover the MET office predictions seem to have become increasingly bad. On the 2nd November a clear sky was predicted for much of the night,in the event we have a pitiful 25 minutes.
The most interesting points were as follows:
-STB not uniform, thicker and more prominent on the proc. side of the CM.
-SEB broad, but only the SEBz seemed to be reasonably well defined and dark.
-EZ contained a number of dark blue festoons which were 'sitting' on the NEBs,EB present.
-NEB broader in some places, contained some interesting structures but it was hard to place these with any accuracy due to the conditions.
-NTropZ looks much brighter now,and the ruddy orange colour seems to be absent.
-NTB seems to be thinner at these latitudes and has returned to how it looked last year,a thin golden yellow band with a darker, somewhat irregular northern edge.
Io near the proc. limb of the disk,Callisto present under the northern hemisphere.

My Jupiter observations from Novermber 02,2012 in fair seeing.
CH4 image needs much more frames, only collected around 400. Have to experiment on that processing a bit more.
