Clif Ashcraft(184mm Schupmann)
I used my Flea2 color video camera,Firecapture 2.2,a 3x Barlow lens and my 7.25" aperture f/14 Schupmann medial to
take a set of fourteen 60 second videos of Jupiter from 0213 to 0228 UT of 2012/12/04. The effective focal ratio was f/47.7.
The first attachment is an image from a video taken near the end of the imaging session at 02:27:23 UT.
Seeing conditions were below average (about 4/10 through intermittent light clouds) over the whole imaging period,
improving only slightly near the end as cloud cover was becoming complete.
The images from all 14 videos taken in the session were derotated and stacked in WinJUPOS to give the second attachment.
Significant improvement in detail is shown by the derotated stack.

Ian Sharp (280mm SC)

Some fairly good seeing early on last night.

David Arditti (356mm SC)
omehow every time I image Jupiter at the moment,I seem to get exactly the same longitude.
At least it makes it easy to compare.
This shows the same view as my image of the 1st.
The merging barges in the NEB look more spread in longitude now.
RGB and I (742nm) images.
