Trevor Barry(406mm Newtonian)
aged Jupiter last night,in variable seeing, poor to fair. Have enough resolved detail,I think,to process and send them off.
Have 2 RGB & 3 742nm IR data sets. There are 3 white ovals in the STB and it looks like there is another white oval up on the edge of the SPR,
forming a triangle of white ovals with the nearest two that are below in the STB. The seeing just was not good enough to resolve fine detail in the SEB and NEB although some of the larger scale structure can be seen. I also note a red spot (oval) down in the NNTZ,particularly well placed in the first RGB (11:30 UTC). [Trevor Barry:Broken Hill:Australia]

Emmanuel Subes(280mm SC)
Not so good conditions for this ultimate capture of Jupiter for 2012...

[Emmanuel Subes:Dax,Aquitaine,France]

Pascal Lemaire (280mm SC)
bad transparancy

Here are images from Dec 30th. Fair to good seeing for a time.
The GRS, Oval BA and post GRS region are well seen.
The new SED (south equatorial disturbance) is passing the GRS in these images.
