The seeing was not good,
but the images showed an interesting phenomena when the contrast was
enhanced. From 21.06 UT a high altitude cloud was observed, with a maximum
exposure around 21.55 UT. The CM was about 185 o
My friend Willem Kivits has this cloud already observed from April 13 up
till at least this morning 20 April. I add one of his images and you can
publish that as well. The cloud is visible in the IR, red, green en blue
channels. I only show the red channel images.
Since the cloud is turning away from our position in The Netherlands, it
would be interesting to learn from observers elsewhere how the cloud
develops.
I discovered that in one of my pictures of Mars, I have used in the last two
images of the cloud not UT but the MEST. I apologize for that and send you
herewith the corrected version. Please use that instead of the previous version.
