200mm S.C. f/10 80x and 317x single shots. Very good trasparency.
Interesting conjunction of the four moons this night,I followed it very well.
Pictures I send show the movement between 01:28 and 03:22 UT. Seeing was
unstable at the begin, principally for the low altitude of the planet,so I
used a low magnification(80x) to capture the phenomenon. At the end of my
session, just before the coming of the dawn, conditions ameliorated and I shoot
Jupiter at 317x(03:33 UT),with good results. South is up.
Jupiter was 34.2" diameter,mag. -1.8,Elong. 48.6 W and phase 99.5%.
Diameter of satellites: Io 0.87" Europa 0.75" Ganymed 1.26" Callisto
1.15".

Attached is a Jupiter image made from a stack of 12 derotated images taken between 9:26 and 9:46 UT on August 24,2013.
Seeing was poor,no better than 3/10,but transparency was good in the pre-dawn sky.
One minute raw 8 bit videos were taken using Firecapture 2.3 with the ASI120MC color camera coupled with a 2x Barlow to my CPC-1100 EdgeHD telescope.
Effective focal ratio f/22.4.
No debayering was done in processing which used AutoStakkert!2 (AS!2) which recovers color images through dithering, not debayering.
Results from AS!2 were sharpened in Registax6,derotated in WinJUPOS,stacked and sharpened again to give the result shown below.

Aug 24th was still poor seeing but an improvement on the previous morning.
Lots of flag waving happening but with some reasonable detail showing through.
There are some tiny dark spots in the STrB and well resolved festoons along the Southern edge of the NEB and Ganymede came up nicely.
Have also attached an animation of 742nm IR data.
This result from Aug 24th gives me hope that I will still be able to make a contribution this year, even with the low alt.
