Merry Christmas! Seeing was good this evening even though I imaged Jupiter when it was still low in the sky.
The Great Red Spot is the main feature in these images. The halo of the GRS has a yellowish color.
Note the bright outbreak just west of the GRS!
The wake of the GRS is very complex. Note the large SSTB spots rising on the lower left.
The EZ/NEB still has very complex interactions.
The festoons are pushing into the NEBs with a lot of complex cloud features.
The NTB has some activity in this region.
