It was clear today. Seeing was a little unstable because of the strong winds.
The GRS is setting on these images. Note the very bright outbreak following the GRS.
This feature is very bright both in CH4 and UV! The wake of the GRS is very complex.
Note the dark spots on the STrZ which seem to be coming from the GRS. The NEB is quiet in this region.

Tonight we had a calm respite here from the ferocious storms of late, and some recovery in the seeing.
One set of data presented two ways again. The RGB image makes the red spot in the north more obvious.
The LRGB shows more clearly the dark S border to the SEB flowing round the GRS on both sides.

In Spain for two months with a very bad seeing because of the continuous fronts clouds are crossing the country.
On day 15 the seeing was still lousy, but at least there was no wind.

Here are some images from February 15th. Good seeing throughout.
The GRS and "mickey mouse head" storms are nicely seen.
Also interesting to see an STBn jetstream spot being sheared apart on the SW rim of the GRS
(appearing as an elongated streak.)
