Jupiter from Sunday night (16th) showing a very dark Ganymede in transit in poor seeing.

Please find attached a Jupiter observation from the 16th March.
I had hoped to view the double shadow transit later in the evening, however clouds came up at 2000UT and that was that.
It was rather infuriating- seeing was excellent, but constant drifting cloud kept getting in the way.
I did manage to see Ganymede, and the GRS was on the disk.
For the first time in ages, the structure in the turbulence just fol. the GRS was quite well defined. [Paul G. Abel:Leicester:United Kingdom]

Peter Edwards(280mm SC)
Image of Ganymede in transit across Jupiter on 16th March. Good seeing.

Christophe Pellier (250mm Cassegrain)
Here are some images of the Ganymede transit. Always impressive to see. Visually it is dark grey, not black as shadow are.
