Please find attached my first Jupiter observation of the new apparition.
At 0508UT the sun was starting to rise,and initially the seeing was rather good although it later varied somewhat.
The GRS was on the proc. limb and showed very little colour.
To my surprise,the ovals in the STB were rather easy to discern- much more so than the last apparition.
A number of prominent festoons could be made out in the EZ,and the NEB contained a number of interesting brighter regions
