Mars on the 17 January 2014 at 03h04 UT Diameter 7.8",altitude 25° Photographer: Peter Rosen,Stockholm-Sweden. I used an OrionOptics CT-10,254mm f/4.8 Newton with a 2,5x Televue Powermate and a TIS DBK-41 camera. The image to the left is a screen capture from StarryNightPro for comparaison and shows the region of Tharsis and Olympus Mons. This whole region seems covered in clouds as well as the limb to the right of the north polar ice cap I have used approximately 2.200 frames in the stack.[Peter Rosen:Stockholm:Sweden]
