Seeing was good this evening.
Syrtis Major is setting on the left. There are some light clouds over Syrtis Major. Mare Cimmerium is coming into view. There is a bright cloud over Elysium. Hellas continues to be cloudy.

Attached is a drawing made of Mars from last night. Surprisingly,the seeing wasn't too bad and I was able to see a number of fine details on the disk. In the north Acidalium is shown,and it's proc. part seemed somewhat darker. IN the south,Mare Erythraeum showed a lot of fine detail,although I was not able to capture it all to my satisfaction and so the attached drawing lacks many of the fine structures observed in the region. There seemed to be some bright clouds on the fol. limb but as as prominent as on previous occasions. Region above Solis Lacus fairly bright.
