Damian Peach (356mm Celestron SCT)
Here is a Jupiter image from January 17th. More to follow later. The GRS is seen just going off.
One thing that stands out is the appearance of the SEB. It looks very bland in its northern half,
and the dynamic white clouds that erupt following the GRS seem quite subdued in their activity.
I wonder if a new fade/revival cycle could be about to start?

David Arditti (356mm SC)
Seeing in the UK has been mostly awful this winter,as Damian has already noted.
There was a slightly better period between January 17 and 20,when the jet stream diverted away.
It's now back to normal. The shadow of Io is just ingressing.
