We got lucky as we had a clear night but the jet stream over our head gave us very unstable seeing.
I don't understand why Callisto appears black,like a shadow...

Seiichi Yoneyama(248mm Newton)
シーイングに波があり若干改善する時もありました。NEBnのWSZが明瞭に写りました。

David Arditti (356mm SC)
This was very low in the sky and seeing was terrible, also I was hampered by the branches of a distant tree.
However, the three shadows and two moons are visible in these infra-red images.
Europa is to the left of Jupiter. The two dark spots on the left of Jupiter's disk are Callisto itself, upper, and Europa's shadow, lower.
Next across is the shadow of Callisto, and Io itself, bright in infra-red,is also in there just to the right. Finally the shadow of Io is at far right.

Anthony Wesley (406mm Newton)
One Jupiter run recorded this morning in between lots of cloud.
The seeing was reasonable for the altitude and conditions (lots of summer storms around this way).

Attached 2 images taken under good seeing conditions and poor transparency.

Attached other 2 RGB images from last night, under very good seeing conditions.

良く見える瞬間もあるが大きくボケるときもあり、ピント合わせに苦労しました。

Paul G. Abel(203mm reflector)
Brief Jupiter observation from last night. I was rather hampered somewhat by passing low cloud which became total cloud cover at 2300UT.
Some interesting details on the disk:
-The STB is quite thin at these longitudes and a small section seems connected to the SSTB .
-Vague band present in the STropZ
-SEB rather broad, but the SEB(S) was not well defined all the way across.
-SEBz orange and contained some darker sections.
-EZ contained a few festoons but these appeared rather weak and not as prominent as previously.
-Boarder of the NEB irregular,a number of darker sections present within the belt.
-NTB -> NNTB a very interesting region, and rather ill defined and murky in appearance.
The NTB takes the form of a golden band at these longitudes, but the NTZ and NTB seem to be one murky brown region.
Some thin dark sects. present in the NTB.
Missed the triple transit of the previous night alas!

The sky was clear after two weeks of clouds and rain but with very poor seeing conditions, I was able to get two red filtered images.
