Christopher Go (355mm SC)
Seeing was again excellent this evening.
Unfortunately I had to cut short my imaging session because of thunderclouds.
In fact,it rained the rest of the night after I shut down.
Oval BA is rising on the left. The STrZ looks active this season with a lot of dark features in it.
The SEB looks very complex in this region. The white oval on the NTB is bright in methane band.

Anthony Wesley (406mm Newton)
The best seeing of the Rubyvale trip so far this morning - Oval BA is well placed at lower left.

Another image from about 20 mins later, seeing was slightly better. Lots of detail around Oval BA.
Comparing the fine detail between this image and the previous shows good correlation,
all the fine spots and filaments exist on both (eg the South Polar Region),
gives more confidence that they are all real

Jim Phillips(503mm Newtonian,254mm Maksutov)
This is probably the best image from last night using my AP 10" Maksutov.
This is a 120 sec exposure at 34 frames per second. Seeing was good.
For my non-amateur astronomy friends,Jupiter's moon Io is right on the limb of the planet on the left
and the Little Red Spot is in the upper mid portion of the planet.

Trevor Barry(406mm Newtonian)
Imaged Jupiter this morning (Feb 8th) in poor to average seeing. Have better than expected result in IR
with a reasonable R & RGB with good coverage of Oval BA and the structure & detail preceding it.
