It’s hard to believe, but been almost a year since my last planetary image.
Although the comet passing had something to do with that,
I put the C14 back up on the mount and we finally had some good seeing last night between passing clouds.
Here’s Jupiter,just a week past opposition.
This image shows the wake of the GRS (Great Red Spot) which is just rotating off the facing hemisphere

Tiziano Olivetti(410mm Dall Kirkham)
attached a couple of images from last night, under poor seeing conditions

Anthony Wesley (406mm Newton)
irst light with the ASI174 camera from ZWO,same sensor as my PGR
camera that I've used for nearly a year so no surprise that it works
just about the same, but this camera is nearly half the price, making it
more affordable... no visible fixed pattern noise and good sensitivity.

Europa can be seen at left just coming into transit,it's shadow hasn't
yet reached the disk but it's not far off. The GRS is setting at lower
right.

Hiroyuki Oyamada (200mm VISAC)
大赤斑が見える面でしたが、正面を向くにつれてシーイングが悪化してしまいました。

Teruaki Kumamori (280mm SC)
シーイングが悪くて詳細は分かりませんが、大赤斑周りがすっきりした気がします。

Tadashi Horiuchi(300mm Newtonian)

Peter Edwards(C14 355mm SC)
Managed to get a single RGB run between the clouds. The red spot was very vivid orange in the eyepiece.
Seeing wasn't bad, shame about the clouds (again!)
Still getting some vertical banding with the ASI120MM. May need to switch back to the DMK.

[Peter Edwars: West Sussex United Kingdom]

Maciek Walo (C11 280mm SCT)

[Maciek Walo:Kielce,Poland]

Kevin Quin(280mm SC)
Seeing was average at the beginning of the session, but cloud banks rolled through midway and seeing went downhill,
with slight improvement toward the end of the session as WSZ was moving onto the disk.
Clouds and variable transparency made color balance a challenge. Jupiter 2015 February 14 0140 UT - 0538 UT [Kevin Quin:Vienna,VA,USA]

Hideo Einaga (300mm Newton)
