The sky was mostly overcast this evening. I was able to get a short clearing.
Seeing was excellent but transparency was very poor. Derotation really helped in making these excellent images!
Oval BA is rising on the left. The STBm has a string of dark barges while the STrZ has a reddish hue.
The NEB has a lot of rift activity.

今回も雲に悩まされましたが、撮像の後半時間帯になってからは、雲を気にせず撮像することが出来ました。
シーイングの方も前日よりは少しだけ改善しました。

Here is a preliminary Jupiter from February 25th under very good conditions. Io and its shadow in transit.
Numerous anticyclonic ovals are visible across this hemisphere, including a distinctly orange coloured one in the far south.
Here are two images from Feb 25th. I re-processed the first one, and have also done a later image. Seeing was very good despite allot of low cloud at times (making things quite frustrating!)
I these images is the best resolution ive ever had on Io. It really does look like a small globe. Also note the slight darker streak toward the centre of the disk and the bright patch over to the right hand side (visible on both images.)
