Suggest:Jupiter 03/31 Oval BA and Ganymede [2 Attachments] by John H.Rogers |
Christopher Go 3/31>>Note the strange feature on the right edge of the NEBn? Is this a white oval merger, an outbreak or a disturbance? John H.Rogers>>Well spotted! This is indeed a new and interesting feature, which may be a sign that the next NEB expansion event is starting.
John H.Rogers>> Attached is a compilation of images of the region over the past month. John H.Rogers>>There was a shallow bay there (L2 ~ 110), probably containing an AWO, then a large, slow-moving rift system passed it in early March, and dark brown projections extended N on each side of it over the last two weeks. John H.Rogers>>As mentioned in my message on March 24, I was expecting such a rift system to trigger the next NEB expansion event soon, and this is just the sort of event that initiated previous NEB expansion events, so it is likely to develop from now on Christopher Go Image 3/30 Christopher Go Image 3/31 John H.
