There was a total lunar eclipse this evening.
Transparency was poor because of clouds which is probably the outer rain band of Typhoon Maysak.
Seeing was surprisingly good. I had to get about 16 min of data to get this decent image!
White Spot Z is prominent in this image. The core is clearly white but the surround area is light orange.
The southern part of the "halo" of WSZ is black!
The bluish STB ghost can also be seen.
