Hi all,

I’m pleased to tell you that we have now published on our web site our final report on Jupiter in 2005 and 2006, based on amateur images and JUPOS analysis. Admittedly, those apparitions were some time ago, but they comprised the last years of generally normal activity before the global upheaval of 2007 and subsequent great outbreaks, and they were the first years of comprehensive hi-res imaging by amateurs. So we present a detailed account of the planet’s atmospheric features in this normal period, including new details of spot dynamics on both edges of the NEB, and a global Zonal Drift Profile, and extensive sets of images. The main changes in 2006 - altered motions in the STropZ, and darkening in the Equatorial Region - turned out to be fore-runners of the global upheaval.

Because the full report is large, it is split into ten files, including a 4-page Extended Summary which is attached to this message.
