Also Jupiter low in west on 11th June taken using the new highly sensitive ZWO ASI224MC colour camera together with a prototype ZWO methane filter.
Alongside is a straight colour image with the same camera without the filter 40mins earlier.
Arrows mark common features in the two images and Europa is the darker patch just below centre in the colour image.
Low altitude blurs lots of the details but overall the pairing of new camera and methane filter show much promise for the next apparition.
