薄雲越しでシーイングも透明度も悪い状態でした。
30分後はシーイングがさらに悪化したので撮影は諦めました。

Seeing was excellent this evening. Unfortunately, after my first run, clouds rolled it.
Oval BA is well resolved in these images. The central white core of Oval BA seem to be flattened!
Note the white streaks on north side of the orange ring of Oval BA!
The wake of the GRS looks very active. The NEB is dark and wide in this region.

Here is the first image of Jupiter from this year’s apparition that I’m posting - taken last night under very cold and damp skies
(I had to stop the session twice to remove the dew from the telescope with a blow dryer).
It was worth the persistence, however,as there was a very brief moment of acceptable seeing late in the session.
Oval BA is seen to the lower right, approaching the evening terminator.

大赤斑が見える領域なので撮像してみましたが、シーイングが良くない上に雲が多発し、計画通りの撮像は出来ませんでした。
そんな訳で、今回はメタンバンドでの撮像を諦めました。

A beautiful double transit of Ganymede and Io last Wednesday.
Seeing wasn't great, but I'm glad I didn't miss it. The SEB disturbance following the GRS is very active.

Seeing was good during brief periods in the hour before local midnight, but then went downhill.
Still,a fair amount of detail is visible even in the later images. A map is also linked below. CPC1100,ASI224MC.
