Seeing was not good however the GRS is well placed and some internal detail can be seen.

Seeing was variable this evening.
There are three red spots in this image. The GRS is the most prominent. The wake of the GRS is very chaotic here.
There are a lot of outbreaks on this wake and these can be seen clearly in the Methane Band image.
The second red spot is the South Polar Red Spot which is due south of the GRS.
On the left,Oval BA is peeking out as the 3rd red spot.
White Spot Z is showing some structure inside. This spot is still methane dark.
Note the small pink oval on the STB embedded on the "STB Ghost" - like feature.

Very good seeing. Great red spot with structures indicating a rotational movement inside.

This are the first decent conditions in 2016. I may have a slight
overkill in resolution (0.09'') and therefore more noisy results.
Seeing was decent at the beginning of the session but in an hour it
got as horrible as it gets so I was forced to stopped imaging.

Took a break from grinding through 2TB of data and actually processed something!
Here is a high resolution image of Jupiter from March 18th. Conditions were excellent.
Shot with an ASI224 colour camera. Certainly the best image ive ever taken with a straight colour camera.
Note the large orange anticyclone in the far southern latitudes and the tiny pink spot in the STB latitude.
Spot Z is very prominent in the NEB.
Patchy clouds were annoying at times, though somehow it seems terrible to complain given the above!
One thing is clear - i need a larger telescope for nights of this quality!
Decided to carefully measure one of the images taken on March 18th
when the GRS was centre. You could still just squeeze the Earth inside it!
