Hi all, here is an image of Jupiter from last night, using an IR 685nm
longpass filter. Seeing was good at times but cloud kept getting in the way.

One of those nights we dream of getting in the UK. Seeing was very good 7-8 for long periods.
Once again what a great job the software has done in bringing out detail in the image.
A couple of interacting white ovals visible in the STB just the the right of the large white oval.

Jupiter under acceptable conditions, which looks small to me after processing the ones from Pic du Midi.
