Seeing was variable today. The GRS is well resolved. The dark core and the dark band edge is resolved.
There is a dark feature between the GRS and the SEB wake. The SEB wake is very complex.
Note the STB ghost like feature with it's small pink spot is about to have a conjunction with the GRS.
The south polar red spot can be seen below the GRS. The White Spot Z is prominent on the NEBn.
This feature is clearly dark in Methane Band which is puzzling because this spot is an anticyclone and was once a methane bright spot!
The NEB has a lot of rift acitivity. [Christopher Go : Cebu Philippines]

Anthony Wesley (406mm Newton)
Hi all, here's an image of Jupiter from last night showing the GRS
prominent at lower left. The turbulent wake in the SEB behind it (left)
makes a striking contrast with the relatively serene SEB to it's right.

The NEB is showing a lot of activity, with White Spot Z (WSZ) visible on
its northern boundary at upper left.

These photos were shot with 2 hours difference. On the first photo the Ganymede's shadow can be seen

Fair to good conditions allowed for some good resolution this evening. Attached are 7 images taken through RGB filters.

Please find attached an observation of Jupiter I made on the night of 20th-21st April.
Once again we had very good seeing conditions here and I was able to see a number of fine features on the disk. Drawing 1: STB broad,a number of well defined white ovals visible. SEB also broad and seems to be separated by a bright SEBz. Number of festoons in EZ NEB active and contains many darker, irregular sections. Only thin sections of the NTB and NNTB visible- or are they NTBn and NTBs components? Drawing 2: At these longitudes no ovals could be discerned in the STB Some material in StropZ near GRS? GRS the smallest I've ever seen it,and dark orange in colour. Festoons present in EZ NEB active, the white oval in NEBn now more diffuse and not as prominent as before. dark sections present in NTB and NNTB but both belts not complete. [Paul G. Seeing wasn't quite as good as a week earlier, but I was able to get three images of varying quality. A map is included.

Ganymede transiting Jove's disk made the images interesting - the contrast illusion effect making Ganymede's appearance darken
as it moves further into the bright background of Jupiter is quite evident in the accompanying animation...as is the Osiris impact site on this moon.
