Hi all,capturing Jupiter data at the moment,and there is a very interesting dark streak showing. 
I've attached an image for you to see - Io is in transit and the dark mark is left of it and oriented vertically.

I have this dark mark in all of my video data,so it's definitely real.
It's not the shadow of Io,that comes onto the disk later. I'll post more images later.

My Jupiter season is almost over.    Jupiter is very low now and already close to my roof.   
Sky was mostly cloudy today and transparency was very poor.

Note the outbreak on the SEB at the CM and the dark festoons on the NEB.   Note the dark band on the SEB

I was able to get in the image the dark streak imaged one rotation before me by Anthony Wesley. 
Unfortunately, my conditions and my latitude prevent me of doing quality images this late in the apparition.

I hope we will get more images of this feature to be able to clarify how and when it appeared.
