The sky cleared after several days of clouds and fog.
I was eager to image Jupiter and curious whether I could detect disturbances in
the Northern Temperate Belt recently detected by Glenn Orton and also by others.
I imaged while the Sun was already above the horizon,so there was quite some noise.
It was not possible to make a methane image In IR there is a lot of detail.
Interestingly,Ricardo Hueso imaged Jupiter about 30-45 min earlier than
I did and presented his results in Facebook (Astronomy Planetary Imaging).
He noticed a disturbance in the NTB using a Red filter.
In my IR images the same disturbance is visible,although less outspoken than in Red.
In addition to the Jupiter images I send you before,
herewith I send you the best image of series I captured in that night.
Some people have asked me to submit an image of Jupiter of 29 October without the annotation and line.
Would you be so kind as to add this ikmage to my other Jupiter images of that date?
