Merry Christmas! It is Christmas morning here in Cebu.
I was not expecting to image this morning because Super Typhoon Nock Ten is close by.
It will make landfall in Luzon this afternoon.
We will be ok here in the Visayas with land fall more than 300 miles away.
When I went out this morning,there was a clearing in the clouds with Jupiter shining bright and inviting!
However,condition was terrible today because of the Super Typhoon.
I could only get IR and CH4 image because the color images were just mucky because to terrible seeing. The GRS and Oval BA can be see in these images. The wake of the GRS is very complex.
There seem to be some rift and outbreak activity on the NEB.[Christopher Go : Cebu Philippines]
