White cloud of Elysium and Olympus Mons is outstanding. This
state becomes clear with the image of which observer. Images
of Mr. Fernando Silva Correa can express states of water ice
cloud well. I understand the state of the delicate light and shade
well. In the South Pole area, the spreading state of the light
cloud is recorded. Small white cloud was recorded with the
image of Mr. Marc Delcroix in the north side of Alba. It is like
the cloud seen well around the North Pole.

Christophe Pellier (250mm Cassegrain) |
Quite correct seeing this morning on Mars. Orographic cloud over Olympus Mons.

Alexei Pace (C14 350mm SC) |
First Mars image for this opposition.Still small at around 10" and low
altitude, bad seeing (soon after a storm).
White orographic clouds can be seen in the region around Olympus Mons as
well as the region of Mare Sirenum/Mare Cimmerium.
[Alexei Pace: Ir-Rabat,Malta]
Anthony Wesley (406mm Newton) |
Seeing was a little better this morning, good enough for a colour RGB image.
Some equatorial clouds can be seen as well as a number of surface features.
One more image - Mars through a 750nm longpass filter, showing the surface features a little more clearly.

Mars images taken with the 1m telescope at Pic du Midi, under turbulence, with the ASI224MC :
We can see an orographic cloud over Olympus Mons, as well as other clouds on the terminator,
probably above Ascraeus and Pavonis Mons, and one further on the North :
There is also a small whitish excrescence further North on the terminator,
but given the resolution that could be an artifact.
