A challenge finding and imaging Mercury in IR at 11am with a 222mm Dobsonian on 22nd Sept only 13.5 degrees from the sun. This is the best 0.5% of 160k frames. Some correlation between my vague surface markings and the Winjupos graphic for the same time. My first showing markings on Mercury but hopefully more to come in time.[Martin R Lewis: Hertfordshire United Kingdom]
