One of those mornings we all dream of.
I knew when Mars came on my screen in my first session that I may have some special conditions taking place,
although with Jupiter at lower altitude,at that point I wasn't getting too excited.
Moreover I had the STrDist approaching the CM....
Plenty of detail in and around the disturbance,as well as the GRS.
There seems to be a string of small features almost connecting the two.
Due to the interest in the STrDist,I have also included the individual colour channel images.
There is a lot of other interesting detail across the planet, but I did specifically note the beautiful bi-colour appearance of the NTr region.

Condition was still poor today. Seeing was unstable as Jupiter is still very low.
The GRS is prominent in these images. It has a strong orange color.
The STrZ Disturbance can be seen rising on the left. The NEB is quiet in this region.

I blew the dust off everything and had a go at Jupiter in the pre-dawn sky on 28th December.
The seeing was poor with the jetstream overhead and the planet dancing about on the screen.
It can only get better from here (I hope). Oval BA just visible.
Happy new year to all my fellow imagers out there
