With Mars so small now (5.4”), afternoon conditions being rather poor, and quality of imaging reducing, I feel that it is time to stop circulating to the full list. In these conditions I am also experiencing quite a severe limb arc/rind. I will continue to circulate to a few of the Mars forums and individuals that wish me to. Kindly let me know if you do want to be retained on the list, probably for the next week or two before I stop. As mentioned a few times, my objective was to get to Ls300 with the primary aim of documenting whether there was any major dust activity or not. I believe I have just about achieved what I set out to, and I am approaching the end of my first full Mars apparition(I started following Mars after opposition in 2014). I will consolidate and confirm the numbers, but I do know that I have submitted on approx. 200 days during the apparition. It has been a fascinating learning curve, and I would like to thank all of those on the list that have interacted with me in many interesting discussions, both on Mars weather and detail, as well as imaging issues.
