CM=350°の観測報告だが、観測条件が非常に悪く、表面の様子はよくわからない。
しかし、西のリム(Chryse)には明るい部分があって、驚いた。
It is an observation report of CM = 350 °,
but the observation condition is very bad and the state of the surface is not well understood.
However, there was a bright part in the west f. limb (Chryse), I was surprised.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had to cut back a few bushes to get this capture low in the east.
I had tried a few days earlier but with Mars so low and with turbulent morning conditions,
I could not get any surface detail.
Very difficult conditions again this morning but at least a few features becoming visible:
The bright Arabia region is at centre left, with Acidalium at lower right. Maybe just a hint of the NPC .
Winjupos simulation at lower right.
Mars is at Ls 73 and 3.7” in size.
I am hoping that this “embryo” image is the start of a memorable apparition for the Mars community.
I am certainly looking forward to having Mars at 24” directly overhead from my location next July!
