Mercury stays quite near to the sun in the sky in these days. Despite of a distance of only 2,7 degrees I found the innermost planet on the 18th of September. With my 7 inch refractor I could take the attached image.[Rudolf A.Hillebrecht: Bad Gandersheim,Germany ]
