here's a colour image of Jupiter from this morning,
you can see the GRS is setting at lower right and Io is the moon at top right.
It is elongated a little due to its proper motion during capture,
it moves quite a lot in the 75 seconds of video for each filter.
The thin belt visible in the middle of the white South Tropical Zone looks interesting.
You don't often see purple colouration on Jupiter,
but this band has been showing as distinctly purple (or magenta) for a while now.
here's an IR750 image of Jupiter from this morning.
Variable seeing conditions again but as usual the best results coming about half an hour before sunrise.
The GRS has recently set at lower right in this image,and Oval BA can be seen rising at lower left.

Poor and frustrating conditions today.
We are having a cold front here with temperatures dropping to around 20C.
Unfortunately,this system is bringing in NW winds to my location which is terrible for seeing here.
Oval BA can be seen just past the CM. The outbreak following BA has really developed into a complex system.
This system is imbedded in the STB Ghost! Note the bright streak in the methane band image!
Rising on the SEBn is what seems to be an interaction between the SEBn and the EZs.
Festoons seem to be forming on the EZs! The NEB shows the wavy pattern in methane band.

今朝も厳しい寒さでした。
昨日午後の雨で望遠鏡のカバーやデッキにびっしりついた水玉がそのまま氷になっていてビックリ。
