I woke up at 3:50am today. When I went out the sky was overcast!
But there seemed to be some clearing on the horizon.
I went back to sleep and was back at around 4:30am.
Still overcast but with some winds and hope of clearing.
I gave up at around 5:00am At 5:30am,the sky cleared ! I rushed to image!
Seeing was good due the the East winds. But it was a race against the sun.
The CH4 image was taken a few minutes before sunrise!
These images show Oval BA and the STB Outbreak remnant on the STB Ghost.
The STB Ghost is still dark in CH4 but the bright outbreak is now mostly gone.
The STB Ghost is moving closer to Oval BA! Will we see fireworks when they collide?
Note the brightening on the EZn. The NEB still shows the wave pattern on methane band.
