During yesterday's public observation at Buskett conditions were quite good so I imaged Jupiter afterwards from home.
Jupiter earlier tonight - finally a spell of good weather.
Also shown is Europa and its shadow transiting over the surface. C&c welcome as usual!

薄雲があり、ゲインを上げざるを得ませんでした。

雲間、薄雲越しでシーイングもいまいちでした。

At dusk the sky was very clear and transparent and when it got dark,
Epsilon Crucis was quite visible with naked eye which is not a common
star to see in a light polluted city like Sao Paulo. I had high hopes
for the sky condition at the moment of Jupiter highest elevation later
in the evening, the moment I run my AVI recordings. Unfortunately,I
observed a degradation of the conditions with a haze in the upper
layer of the atmosphere coming from the west, interior of Sao Paulo
state. I was able to get 3 RGB sequences that were just reasonable to
process. I am still struggling to get the color balance correct.

薄雲が多くしばしば木星像が見えなくなる空で、シーイングも悪かったのですが、
夜半過ぎから晴れてシーイングも良くなりました。
今夜は赤経軸は快調でした。
今シーズン前半の最後の観測となりそうです。

Here is an image of Jupiter from May 5th in reasonable seeing, better transparency than the night before,
but not the same above average seeing conditions as the 4th May.

撮影の初めはまだそこそこのシーイングでしたが、途中から酷いシーイングになってしまいました。

First Jupiter observation for me this year, after a Saturn observation under very bad conditions during the week
(that was my first observation in 5 months).
Start of the night was ok despite a low elevation (below 30° here),but it degraded for the RGB.
Details can be made out on Callisto (in infrared, visible and even in methane maybe),
with what should be the young bright "Lofn" crater at meridian on the South,
and the dark patch at the center. Europa is transiting on Jupiter.
BA oval is setting (white/reddish at bottom right on IR/RGB),
and southern SSTB with white ovals A8,A1,A2,A3 (from right to left, bright in methane).
At meridian, following BA,dark STB spectre, elongated with a small whitish zone inside bright in methane.
North edge of North Equatorial Band shows the distinct wave shapes in visible.
