大赤斑の前方が薄暗く、暗柱のように見えます。
大赤斑との間のSTrZは白斑のように明るい。。。
南熱帯攪乱が復活するのでしょうか？？？

Jupiter IR from yesterday evening. Oval BA past the CM.

Attached is an observation of Jupiter I made on 30th June with Dr Hugh Sasse at the University of Leicester observatory.
Seeing was around AIV although there were some steady moments.
The GRS can be made out on the fol. limb.
The NEB continues to show a lot of activity,and there seemed to be a bright bay indenting the northern edge of the NEB.

Night conditions were good,dry and warm temperature stll predominant.
I tried for the first time an infrared filter (850 nanometers) with
good result. It is much easier to process compared to methane band filter.
