I managed to catch some reasonable IR data in bright twilight this evening. The final image is 3x60s derotated.
The two S4 domain ovals,AWO-2 and LRS-1 are quite clearly seen. AWO-2 appears to be north of LRS-1,
which my explain the lack of further approach and it will be interesting to see if the gap now widens.
There is an interesting turbulent structure following the GRS,and some structure is seen in the GRS itself.
Oval BA is at lower left preceded by a trio of ovals and Ganymede is at upper left about to commence transit.
I really wasn’t expecting much out of the RGB as conditions deteriorated fast, so was reasonably happy with the attached.
Ganymede in transit at upper left.
The disturbance following the GRS can be seen as well as the BA Oval at lower left, with its trio of ovals preceding it.
AWO-2 and LRS-1 can just be detected at lower right.
