今回は、日本だけの観測となったが、いずれも気流が悪く、観測には苦労している。私も観測者の一人だが、Meridianiから
Sinus Sabaeusが確認できた。南極地方は白雲が広がっている。Argyre盆地には、最近顕著な雲があり、南極雲の明るさを引き立たせている。
この位置で観測ると、Tharsisが火星のリムに来て、非常に明るく観測される。
This time it was only observation in Japan,but in both cases the seeing is bad and it is hard to observe. I am one of the observers,
but I could confirm Sinus Sabaeus from Meridiani. Blue clouds are spreading in Antarctica. In the Argyre Basin,there are recent notable clouds,
which highlights the brightness of Antarctica clouds. Observing at this position,Tharsis comes to the limb of Mars and is observed
very brightly.

薄雲を通しての撮影で、シーイングも良くありませんでした。

透明度は悪いが、火星は表面輝度が高いため、ちょうど良い明るさに見える。
Mare Acidariumなど、結構見える。南極部に灰色の雲が見える。

Acidalium が淡く感じられますが・・・・・・、何か異変でも起きているのでしょうかね・・・・・・・。
オリンポス山が明るく輝いていて肉眼では極冠かと感違えしそうで・・・・・・・。

Good seeing on the 22nd allowed an excellent view of the Elysium hemisphere.
The famous Gale crater (location of curiosity rover) is located at the end of the longer of the tuning fork prongs of Sinus Gomer which are clearly visible at lower centre.
Amazing to think that Mars will be almost four times as wide as this by the end of July. We are in for a real treat!
